Tim Womark was a hit with all the students when he explained Arbor Day. He taught students about resources that come from trees.
1st place winners in the Piedmont Writers Conference. Jazmin Bennett's title was New Friends and it was dedicated to Julissa and Cinthya.
Emma Haywood, Faith Sparks-Steele, and Destini Marley's title was The Day Before Christmas. It was dedicated to their sweet, loving grandparents.
Several of our students received a trophy, medal and a T-shirt for Graduating from the S.M.A.R.T.S Program.

2nd Grade students study life cycles. During this study they do embryology. Chicks have hatched and lots of learning is taking place. Eggs & incubators were provided by State Farm and 4-H.
