Enrollment/Transfer Window Opens on March 1st!
Asheboro City Schools window for admission, reassignment, and release applications is March 1st to June 1st. Digital applications are linked on the Enrollment and Transfers page (click here). The student transfer committee will review each completed application and will notify the applicant of the decision on June 30th. Decisions will not be provided prior to this date.
 
El periodo de tiempo para las solicitudes de admisión, reasignación y liberación de las Escuelas de la Ciudad de Asheboro será del 1º de marzo al 1º de junio. Las aplicaciones digitales están enlazadas en la página de Matriculación y Transferencias (haga clic aqui). El comité de transferencia de estudiantes revisará cada solicitud y notificará al solicitante de la decisión el 30 de junio. No se comunicarán decisiones antes de esta fecha.

Welcome to Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School!


Asheboro City Schools is proud to announce the rollout of the app, Here Comes the Bus. This app will help parents and guardians stay connected to their children’s bus route information. 

Here Comes the Bus allows parents to easily view the location of their child’s bus in real-time. It also includes an interactive map that displays the route the bus is taking, as well as its estimated time of arrival. Alerts can be sent to parents when the bus is close to the stop and when it has arrived. 

For parents of bus riders, here are sign-up instructions:
1. Download the Here Comes the Bus app or visit herecomesthebus.com
2. Click the “Sign Up” button
3. Enter school code 30109 and click “Next” followed by “Confirm”
4. Complete the “User Profile” box
5. Under “My Students,” click “Add.” Enter your child’s last name and student ID
number
6. Once you confirm your information, you’re ready to begin

Academic and Social Achievement Program (ASAP) After-School 
Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School is proud to offer Asheboro City Schools expanded after school program, the Academic and Social Achievement Program (ASAP). ASAP provides opportunities for students to work on targeted academic goals through individual and group-learning activities. The program consists of structured academic and recreational age-appropriate activities for students in kindergarten up through fifth grade. Below you will find an application and the program's policies and procedures. Please call the Donna Lee Loflin main office during regular business hours to learn more.
Box Tops 4 Education

Loflin Elementary is collecting Box Tops for Education. Clipping the $0.10 coupons quickly adds up to hundreds of dollars for our school.  Our goal is to earn $1,000 this year. Visit the Box Tops homepage to learn which products carry the Box Tops labels and to print out valuable coupons.
